Christmas Day Oxford Cathedral – Experience the serene and sacred atmosphere of Oxford Cathedral this Christmas Day, located within the historic Christ Church. On 25th December, the cathedral opens its doors from 07:35 to 18:35 for a day of worship and celebration, inviting all to honor the birth of Jesus Christ.

Four distinct services are offered throughout the day to cater to various preferences and schedules. Each service provides a unique opportunity to connect with the timeless message of hope, peace, and joy that Christmas brings.

1. 8.05 am: Holy Communion (1662 Book of Common Prayer)
   Begin the morning with a reflective Said Matins, steeped in tradition. This service sets a contemplative tone, featuring prayers and scripture readings from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
2. 9.35 am: Said Matins (1662 Book of Common Prayer)

3. 11:05 am: Choral Eucharist of Christmas Day

4. 6:05 pm: Said Evening Prayer (Common Worship)
