Christmas Carol Concert –  Choir & St Cecilia Orchestra – 15/12/2024 5.30 to 7.00pm

Christmas Carol Concert at Ripon Cathedral promises an unforgettable evening filled with festive cheer and musical brilliance. Following the sold-out success of 2023, this year’s concert brings together the magnificent Ripon Cathedral Choir and the acclaimed St Cecilia Orchestra. Under the skilled direction of Ronny Krippner, the ensemble will deliver a stunning performance that highlights Ripon’s exceptional musical heritage during this joyous season.

Doors open at 4.45 PM, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments before being seated. Please note, the cathedral will not be accessible prior to this time due to rehearsals. Unreserved seating ensures flexibility, with guests directed to appropriate areas upon arrival. Those holding restricted-view tickets will be seated in the transepts. Attendees are encouraged to bring their tickets, either printed or digitally, for smooth entry. The concert concludes at 7.30 PM, offering an enchanting evening perfect for celebrating the holiday season. Parking is conveniently available at St Mary Gate & Cathedral Car Park near Sainsbury’s.

While the event is sold out, it reflects the enduring appeal of this annual celebration. Please remember, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or resold. However, exceptional cases may be considered upon contacting the Ripon Cathedral Marketing Department.
