Christmas Day Hereford Cathedral – Hereford Cathedral warmly invites everyone to celebrate Christmas Day with us on 25th December 2024. Our Christmas worship schedule includes three special services. Each offering a unique and sacred opportunity to honor the birth of Christ in our historic and beautiful cathedral.

The day begins at 8:00 am with Holy Communion with Hymns . This quiet and reflective service is a perfect way to start the day. Combining the solemnity of communion with the joy of traditional Christmas hymns.

At 10:00 am, join us for the Cathedral Eucharist, led by the Bishop of Hereford. This central celebration of the Eucharist features a powerful sermon from the Bishop. Accompanied by uplifting music and readings that highlight the significance of this holy day.

At 11:30 am, the cathedral hosts Choral Matins, where the Dean of Hereford will preach. This service showcases the beauty of choral music, blending scripture. Prayer, and hymns in a contemplative and inspiring atmosphere.
