Christmas Carols Southwell Minster Cathedral – The Cathedral Carol Service at Southwell Minster offers a festive experience akin to the renowned service at King’s College, Cambridge. This cherished event combines choral music performed by the Cathedral Choir and the opportunity for the congregation to sing beloved Christmas carols. Through readings and music, the service beautifully depicts the journey to Bethlehem, the birth of Jesus, the shepherds’ adoration, and the Magi’s arrival.

To draw a large attendance, so arriving early is strongly advised to secure seating. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed online, allowing participation from the comfort of home. Worshippers are encouraged to follow the order of service, which includes instructions for standing, sitting. Kneeling, and singing along with the congregational elements.
